Vintage Vogue

I love how this was in American Vogue in 1979.

RIP MJ

No matter your view on this event, its undeniable that this day means something. Art died a little, in the sense that the world lost the potential of an always inventive, evolutionary and awing talent. That said, it will gain many new ones - thanks to him.

Ps. One of my favourite bloggers Betty was a big fan. A couple of weeks ago she wore these outfits. To all the fans out there - thinking of you. And to the Jackson family.

Trailers that are anything but Trash

I love movie trailers. I LOVE them. Climatic ones, beautiful ones, cliche filled ones. I always know if I'll like a movie based on it's trailer, and I always find one that I'm instantly obsessed with, yet the movie doesn't come out till a year later. Happened with 'Tristan + Isolde', 'Atonement' and 'The Duchess'. 'Australia' is a very pretty trailer too. Honestly its a love affair - I get giddy the moment a dramatic tagline appears on a black screen, or an editing cut happens just as the beat does.

I can recite the entire 'Tristan + Isolde' Trailer - and yeah, I am insane.

Kate

One of my favourite pictures of her. I have no idea why, just is.

A short Thankful Tale for calling us a Wondering Star

I am so excited and HAPPY, A little princess from Tales of a Wondering Star just gave me my first shout out! It's hard to get people looking at your blog when you first start, just with the sheer amount of new worthy blogs out there, and each one of them continuing with what seems endless postings of eye delights - so much to get through; let alone time and work and internet usage which doesn't agree with your already established favourite list that's longer than the line of girls wanting to marry Johnny Depp. So her idea of shouting out all new blogs she comes across is just so lovely and beautiful! Thank you so much! You're the ultimate star!

Chuck Bass - All time favourite character

When Gossip Girl first started, I was telling my younger cousin to watch it, she was quite skeptical, so I was explaining why I liked it so much. Mind you, I was explaining to her whilst we were in backseat of a car with my grandmother, and my aunty and my mum in the front; so as I was saying "Cause there's this character that is bad but good" my Greek grandmother laughed and repeated "Good but bad?", after several repeats on my part "He's good but bad, like him being bad is good" my cousin and grandmother just nodded off and laughed with each other. It's been a year now. My cousin is trying to catch up on Gossip Girl, my grandmother still watches Bold and Beautiful (which btw ask me a storyline question dating to the 80's and I have a good shot at answering it) and I still love Chuck Bass - cause he's bad but good.

OMG!! Forget Cloaks bring on the Trench!

Two things I love: Burberry and Harry Potter. No f***ing joke.

“Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign,” said Burberry's creative director, Christopher Bailey.

“I wanted the images to represent the rich history and modernity of Burberry while reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today."

I can't say anything but OMG. I nearly fell while running for the phone to call my bestfriend - http://intenselyinto.blogspot.com/.

Federer - French King

Roger Federer won the French Open yesterday, I cannot begin to explain how excited I got!

But that's not the only thing that got me in a frenzy - though it was surely enough, but as they were showing Federer's box with his girlfriend and family, what do I see in the corner, bopping up and down... it can't be, but it is, that bob. I had to go on the net instantly and it turns out I'm not suffering from delusions - Anna Wintour was at the match - and getting all excited!

I love how she still wears the glasses at the tennis too. Btw - I'm Eleni, you can just call me Chicken Helene.
